Students will report on a Food related Social Media Site. The report will be presented in class on Week 7 of the course and represents 30% of the final course grade. See the Presentation Rubric.doc for grading criteria. Reports should be in the form of either a lecture, discussion, performance, video or powerpoint presentation. The entire report should be delivered within a 5 minute time frame. Questions to be answered: What is the site about? What are its features? Who visits the site? What is the most interesting thing about the site? Is there a forum or way for visitors to communicate?
Here are some sites to consider. There are several sites for Professional Chefs and Culinarians which have not been included here: Check them Out! If you wish to use one of the sites on this page, please let me know as soon as possible so that we will not have duplications.
